[Jukebox-list] Define hum?

Hello David, I have a Rockola 1428 that has a background hum after a selection is made, ie turntable, amp are energized. I too have checked the amp filter caps, changed tubes, to no avail. There's two other areas to check grounding of the phono core cable and also audio output transformer. I havn't done either quite yet...
