[Jukebox-list] Define hum?

David,
Just un plug the main power cord from the wall outlet, then un plug the "lites" from the amplifier. Now plug the "lites" into a tempory extension cord and let the lights burn to see if, or if not, the hum is there. Also look at the lamp ballast(s). If there are any "drippings" under or around them, they are very suspect, and should be replaced. Ron Rich
