Rick,

My Rock-Ola 1484 (pictures) uses a mount for the wall
that looks identical to the one Stamann has pictured. 
The lower part is a angle iron to support the weight,
a flat steel strap up to a smaller angle and a hinge
with a round steel pin that goes into the phonograph
interior.  This round pin has a hole in it so I secure
mine with a cotter key.  

It has been hanging around a while and is quite
secure.  I am sure the dimensions are significantly
different for a 1464 from a 1484.
