No offense to Jackie! But I have gotten a hold of a Liitle Richard 78 titled
"The Girl Can't Help It" from the movie of the same name.
I looked it up on google and I said"Oh yeah,I remember that movie now" The
one where the gangster boyfriend of the gorgeous Jane Mansfield is out to make
her a star in spite of the fact she has no talent. Is this the movie where they
send the Seeburg Trashcan toppling out of the window or is it a different
movie?
Whether it is or not it's got some great 50s rock in it.I gotta look for the
dvd now.
Sorry,Jackie no offense. I love your Trashcan.Such a shame they destroyed one
in a movie for comedy effect but I would guess back in those days by 1956 a
Trashcan was considered obsolete only playing 1 side of 20 78s and they were
making 200 play 45 machines by then.

p.s. I played the record on my 1960 Magnavox console stereo and it plays
great. Gotta get that Wurlitzer 1400 ready to play it...lol.Rebuilding the amp now
and my 78 idler and Cobra needles are here.
