Hello Rick,
thanks for the two serial numbers you entered.
I changed the entry like you said - no problem.
http://www.jbw-forum.de/sdb/index.php?action=showmodel&id=235
There is no way to edit the entry yourself afterwards - a complete registration and login would be necessary for doing so.
To be honest - we did not think if one should verify the number somehow. It seems to make sense in one case. On the other hand it does not prevent from one who wants to give faultry entries I guess.
So far we are lucky and no one is doing like this. There are sometimes mixed up digits or one too much or a number looks like it cannot fit.
Then we get in touch with the user and most of the time we get a positive response. Also when a new serial number is added I have a short look onto it if it somehow fits to the others.
Next to learning about serial numbers we learned so much more - especially on (for us) unknown manufacturers or models, different variations, jukeboxes built under license etc.
And I'm sure we will learn a lot more.
Next to this I used your hint to change from "info given by" to "name" (sometimes it is so easy ....)
Kind regards - Hildegard

Hi Oliver,
is there a way to edit my serial number entry on your site? I didn't list my name, but put "id plate on cabinet" as I thought that verification was necessary as to where I got the serial number (as some other site requrie for their serial numbers). If you can, please replace the id on cabinet with Rick Force. sorry, Rick.
