ahhhhhhh vomit, that is exactly what it smells like! I took off all the
buttons last night and cleaned them in baking soda (this was good, all the
gumk came to the surface of the water) then soaked them in simple green. I
finished putting everything back around 1am. This morning there is a huge
improvement, however if you get right up to the buttons there is still a
faint smell. Thanks for all the tips and info.
I also got my banner brackets for the 1650 and found some nice paper to do
the new/old back. I think it looks fantastic, however I am considering
doing the back and sides in mirror tiles like the trashcan door. It will be
a bit more work but worth it, that's another project later down the road. I
will post some pics on photobucket showing it's current transfomation of
beauty.
All I need is my amp, needles and a mech tray spring, which my friend has
and hopefully get those out to me sometime next week. Can't wait to hear it
play!
Jackie
