How about using some gentle heat to soften the plexiglass? Like a hairdryer 
maybe? Or you could place it in the oven at it's lowest setting? I think mine 
goes down to 130 degrees or so.You might need to make a form similar to the 
curve in the dome to help shape it. That's quite a bend the plexi needs to make 
on the 1650 dome. Not sure if it would work but I've read about people using 
heat before to form plexiglass.
