Hi Jackie, regarding your plexiglass, be careful it is
the right stuff. When work in on my 2204 wurlitzer
years ago, I remember using a sheet of plexiglass type
material sold from hardware stores. It lasted a short
while before I heard a strange cracking noise and the
whole thing shattered like a windscreen. I ended up
using a product called Lexan (not sure if it is
available in the US). This is a far superior product
and can withstand the strain put on the bend. I know
how you feel about getting the bend in place. I
struggled by myself for hours too. If I remember, some
strong clamps came in handy. Sorry cant be of any more
help. Good luck. If possible, can you get an original
glass?
