[Jukebox-list] Wurlitzer 2300S selection problem

Hi Ron,
Thanks for your reply. You are absolutely right, I have to be much more specific in order for other people to understand what´s (not) happening. First of all some good news: the problem with the "6" button mysteriously solved itself, at least for the time being. After pushing it about forty times it decided that it would function again. I wish all problems were solved so easily.
The second selection problem appears to be different than I diagnosed before. Now that I topped up the jukebox with more singles it looks like this: when you make an ODD selection everything goes fine. However if you select an even number, the wrong record lift arm functions and picks up the wrong record. For instance: if you select T2, it picks up H1, if you select T8 it will pick up H5 (all of these are records exactly left of to the selected record on the "now playing" display. The thus played record is not locked down after being played. I have to lift the tip and mountain bracket assembly (it feels "stuck" against the selector pin) and push the selector pin back with my finger.
I hope I described the problem well now. Thanx for your help!

First of all,you need to be a little more specific. When you say that "the machine does not react in any way", what exactly do you mean. Does the # 6 plastic button go down and lock there? If so, how do you unlock it. Or, does the metal shaft, under the plastic button fail to go down, and/or, lock down. Then , If the button and shaft are in fact "going down", does the slide portion of the switch follow it down--is it "all there", and making good contact on the sliders?
When you say that the H7 selector pin comes up, that means that it IS being "released". I assume that you mean it is not locking down AFTER stopping for H7? If it is not locking down, does the selector crank tip "jump" over it, or does it not push it down far enough to re-set it? If it does not re set it, how do you get it to move down, out of the way?
