If the 514 amp is in there it should have a mute switch connection. The 1400
has a mute switch that mutes when the mech motor starts running. It terminates
in a phono plug just like the cartridge input does.Maybe it's different hookup
termination than a 1650?

The safest thing to use to trip those pins is a screwdriver tip. Keps the
fingers out of harms way....lol.

Glad it is all coming together for Jackie as well.

HI Jackie, your 1650 should have had a 518 amp in it when it was new.

The 510 amp fits a 1250, and a 514 should be for a 1400, 1450 juke.

Becarful around those gears and moving arms, I almost lost a finger working
on my 1250 when I was in there manually triping a select coil !!

Glad it is all coming together for you. There a nice looking juke when there
cleaned up !
