[Jukebox-list] Removing Old Hardened Gaskets

I have used naphtha and had allot of success. Works very nicely removing
silicone adhesives and glue residues.
It will break down just about any petroleum product. I have used it on
acrylic aircraft windows before to remove excess adhesives. I have just
cleaned record carrier bearings that were un-turnable due to old hardened
grease and it worked very nicely.

A word of "CAUTION". Like the label says, test in an inconspicuous area
before you try on ANY plastics.

By the way a handy bottle of lighter fluid (Ronsonol, Zippo) is  a good way
go!
