>This is how I would do a Seeburg C. First I remove the mech from the jukebox, remove side covers, mech cover, pinbank, motor, top chrome indicator bar and the clutch. I take the motor cap loose and place in plastic bag and tape it tight so water will not get into it (I guess you could also do this for the motor but I find it easier to remove the motor). I put the mech on my driveway and use SIMPLE GREEN, I spray the mech several times and let sit for 20-30 minutes. You have to be careful and make sure the simple green doesn't dry. The idea is to keep it damp and turn on side and back to make sure you spray the entire mech. While spraying I have a few different brushes I use to scrub the greasy spots. After I think the mech is cleaned I will use COLD water to rinse. You will get a film on the mech if you rinse with HOT water. cool or cold water works the best.

>After I have the mech rinsed off with cool water (med/high pressure) I will use my compressor and blow dry. Before I had a compressor I used to let sun dry and this worked fine also. It's just after you blow dry the mech out you can start lubing it back up right away.

>Simple Green really cleans the wire looms, what used to be all black wires are now all colored wires. So make sure to spray on all the wire looms.

>After I rinse, blow dry, & re-lube...the mech looks brand new. Simple Green is bio-degradable.
>
>Simple Green will take ink off if left on for a long time. When I clean a control center or amp I will rinse off in just a couple of minutes and I plug up the underside transformer holes with electrical putty and a very quick rinse as I don't want any water getting into the transformers. You can view some on my amp/control center work on my website.

>Big issue with any degreasers is the smell they leave, simple green has a sweet smell and after a day the smell goes away.
