Hi Richard,
I have restored a few Entertainers so I will try to give you some help here.
The bulbs you need are #2182, they can be got from many miniature lamps
suppliers, and also some juke parts dealers. They are wire ended and fitted
into the lamp trays with a crimp type connector (no solder). They are rather
fiddly to do, I find the best way is to take out the whole light tray and
replace them all. If you don't do this and only replace those that were not
working, you will find some more of them have stopped working by the time
you put the tray back in again!

As for the selection problem - this is a "Black and Grey box" machine, if
you don't know what this means then have a look at Tony Miller's web site
http://home.pacbell.net/fmillera/. Tony is also on this list and may
respond... First thing to do would be "battery trick" , this will (if done
the right way round!) clear all the selections from the Tormat. You can then
find out if it's a 'read out' or 'write in' problem. There is a good
troubleshooting guide on the website mentioned above.

Best of luck with it!

Adrian.

Subject: [Jukebox-list] 1976 Seeburg Entertainer

Hi! This is a "test post". Following the recent thread about posting to
the list, and since I've been lurking for some time, I thought I'd try a
post, introduce myself, & ask a quick question or two. Three years ago, I
moved from the midwest to Cocoa Beach, Fl. & sold my jukebox collection.
I'd been collecting & restoring since early '80's. I thought I was out of
the hobby, but you all know how that goes. I have a 1936 Rockola Nite Club
now, but am having trouble finding other older jukeboxes in central Florida
(Orlando area) & am looking to pick up something reasonable (Seeburg C or R
maybe?) close around Orlando. I'll appreciate any leads. Now to my
questions. A friend & I just picked up a 1976 Seeburg Entertainer. It's
nice & clean, plays, & the amp sounds good; no coin gear. But...right now
it just plays every other selection in order (i.e. never comes to rest). It
will cancel, but just goes on to select the next record. I haven't worked on
anything this
new before, but I'm thinking I have to unplug the tormat from the control
center, let it scan to cancel selections, & plug it back in. Does this make
sense, or where else should I be starting? Also, the machine uses tiny
bulbs for animation of the large "Entertainer" letters. Does anyone know
the # of those bulbs & where best to order right off hand? Thanks! Tip
from Sunny Cocoa Beach
