With the rejector out where you can see both sides, can you see where in the
rejector the dime stops? Toward the top, in the middle, or does it travel to
the bottom, but go out the reject chute instead of the accept chute? One of
my Rowe manuals shows pictures of the National rejector and I can scan it
and mark the adjustments you should look at.

I think you would call it a single coin rejector.  There are three
coin rejectors in one combined bank, but each coin type goes down it's
own rejector. There's a stamping on the side of the dime rejector
"National Slug Rejector Inc."  And theres a raised embossing on the
top of the hinged coin release "B-49  10c".

In most cases, cleaning the slug rejector, removing the "washer
catcher" and re-adjusting the unit will do the job. However, it does
require some experience to get it to accept new dimes.
  You didn't say which type of coin unit is in that machine--and I
don't remember--is it a "single coin" or "three coin" type rejector?

There has been great information posted previous regarding this
process and the unique composition of these plastics.

As has been discussed previous, the large upper and lower W800
pilasters respond very well to soaking in bleach. No scrubbing,
sanding, or abrasives necessary. They will leave them an ivory to a
cream colored white with absolutely no degradation to the surface
finish. They will yellow again naturally.

The above method is less affective on the red or green marbled catlins
but is nothing short of miraculous on the large white pilasters on the
W800.
