[Jukebox-list] Explosions-was-electrolytic caps

Hi Steve,
Well--maybe. But I know it was eliminated in the middle of a model year run (just can't remember which one-I remove it anytime I see one), and Seeburg had a good history of sending "change" notices out ---which almost always included earlier models, if appropriate, so it's possible that it was just noted as justification for the elimination of the cap--
I'll see if I can find that bulletin, when it warms up out in the shop--and I may post it---

New engineers looking at cost would explain removing the part on new
production.
However, if you compare the options of suggesting that it be
eliminated in earlier units, vs. saying nothing about it? I think
saying nothing would have cost less. Typing up and duplicating the
memo to the field, and time answering questions whenever you say
anything about anything to your customers, costs money.
That they suggested removing it in earlier units says to me they had
more than cost reduction for a reason, whether they said so or not.

"On this employee survey form, it asks, 'Do you trust your manager?'
If I trust him to do the wrong thing, is that a 'yes'?"
