Hi All,
I found a copy of the Seeburg Service Bulletin dated May 28, 1957 ("K"-"L" production days) that concerns the .1 cap (or condenser) that was used on the mechanism, across the reversing switch.
I think that there was a later bulletin, but I can't find a copy. This one says that the "---condener will be deleted from production units." It further states that "---elimination of the condenser does not affect the contact arcing one way or another", (on) "--properly adjusted (reversing switch) contacts---".
I think ( but am not sure) that the later bulletin stated that it was OK to eliminate it in earlier models---Ron Rich
