Hi Ron, thanks for the advice. There is a small wing
nut on a bracket at the top of the cylinder. Loosen
that, slide the unit out and up to release it from the
turning motor, and as you said, the coloured cylinder
just drops off. I was thinking it would be much
trickier than that. Not complaining though. Just got
to find a replacement tube light now.
