I recently installed a new stylus hoping this would correct the problem, but it didn't. Could this be a problem with the actual volume controls or possibly the amp? HELP!!!

Is your volume control still mounted inside the jukebox or it is
extended? If extended then you might have a short in the wiring.

Otherwise the problem sounds like either a bad potentiometer or possibly
the AVG circuit.

A simple test would be to flip the slide switch on the bottom of the
volume control - this separates the two volume controls so each will
control one channel. Now turn one channel off and the other to mid (or
comfortable) level and listen to see if the problem continues. If not,
then turn that channel down and the first up to middle - does the
problem now occur? You might also disconnect the speaker from the side
that you have turned the volume down to see if that stops the volume
blasting (no risk to the amp as no load).

A little experimenting to narrow down the channel or volume control tha
tis causing the problem willl help you a lot in analyzing this.
