[Jukebox-list] Seeburg 100g blown 5 amp fuse

I have used the plug in free play adaptor, and I love it!? It does a great job of allowing you 15 seconds to pick your song, then it de-energizes the coil, until you pick one again.? Try one, you will not be sorry.? It also does away with the problems in bad coin units, bypasses them so you don't have to worry about them.? Worth the price and I think will save you calls down the road.....

Jason,
Assume is correct--and AFTER you replace the solenoid ( Hint: VERRY carefully
mark the adjustable slides that hold the latch bar assembly--they can be real
tricky to re-adjust on that keyboard), put a 3 Amp fuse in that, and the other
fuse post--not a 5 Amp, even if it is marked "5 Amp"! (2a SB, Max. in the
"clip")

Hi I have a Seeburg 100g that blows the 5 amp fuse, when u repalce the fuse
the latch bar solenoid starts to smoke and then the fuse blows. Do I assume that
this solenoid is faulty?

Thanks
Jason
