cartridge to replace the OEM
redhead. I would like to experiment them to determine which offer the best
sound from my machine.

When the Pickering 345-03D first came out, I was able to talk Victory Glass
into sending me one of the very first ones he received in exchange for a
good a/b/c comparison.  I tested that cartridge versus a Thorpe, an original
redhead with NOS stylus, and original redhead with stereo compliant stylus
and a Varco.  I tried it on a Seeburg M100B, V-200, 222 and then the L-100.

Hands down, no close second, the 345-03D was superior to all.  But the most
dramatic difference was in the L-100.  Just my 2 cents worth.
