[Jukebox-list] Rock-Ola Ultra 437 Push-button bank problems

The letter-bank pair on the push-button assembly has developed an
age-related fault, and I'm looking for advice.
It seems that the contacts on the boards have fatigued with age and the
sliders that make and break through the contacts have worn silver-coating.
This has resulted in poor contact, and despite my opening up the board,
cleaning and re-installing, the fatigue causes the contacts to distort and
break connection.
The earth contacts are the easiest to see and test with a multi-meter, and
at this basic level, the contacts are unreliable - they work sometimes when
you wobble the button,
bit like a loose tooth.
I'm thinking it needs either replacement - new contacts with correct shaping
and spring in the metal - this will be nearly impossible as the contacts are
riveted onto the board
Or - new boards with new contacts built from scratch.
The numbers board (which I would have thought had more use) is in good
condition and reliable.
So, has anyone attempted a board rebuild with new contacts, or does anyone
have a low-mileage letter-bank for sale.
Any assistance appreciated, Jeff.
