[Jukebox-list] Animation Units

Hi John,

I understand your concern.

Yes, I guess I am trying to dress up a 50's machine to make it look more 40's. But then, I think back about how other 50's Seeburgs had animation: A, B, C, (and the aftermarket kits for the G). That's why I didn't think it was too much of a stretch to animate the R.

IF I ever do animate it, I would always ensure that it could be easily converted back to it's original state without any damage to the cabinet.

Thanks for your feedback.

Mike

Hi Mike,

I'd be extremely reluctant to add an animation unit to one of Seeburg's finest sounding jukeboxes...This machine is a child of the 50's and you want to dress it up in 40's clothing? I suggest you step back and take a long look at your juke. It has the cleanest lines, nicest colouring, and simplest operation of all jukeboxes. Runs forever with a hint of oil every few years...
