[Jukebox-list] Ceramic Disk Capacitors

I'm rebuilding an AMI G amp and it has a few black .02/500 volt ceramic disk caps. I've been told in the past that you can usually get by without replacing ceramic disks. Anyone care to comment on this? My real reason for asking is that I don't have those values in ceramic disk form. Can I replace them with orange drops or should I just leave them alone? Thanks,
