I've heard that some of these sets use a 1-mil stylus, like LPs,
which means you can't intermix them with "real" 78s. The problem
I've had with these sets is that, based on my musical taste
anyway, you have to buy an awful lot of chaffe to get a few
pieces of wheat.  You can find a lot of pre-1959 rock on 78s
if you keep looking and don't mind paying for the song you
want (which isn't too bad compared with paying for songs you
don't want). Now, if you want the Beatles in your 78 machine,
better head to India and be prepared to spend $300-400 each
for the Parlophone 78 pressings issued in that market - if
you can find any.
