[Jukebox-list] Seeburg 222 purchase

I've heard about everything Jay mentioned but I don't have problems with the 
sound of my 222 amp.
 
One caveat is 222s only have the 2 12" woofers in them and were intended to 
use the wall speakers for stereo separation so running alone they will be 
lacking in highs compared to  some other jukeboxes.They still sound better than an 
LPC1 which does have 2 more speakers than the 222 but uses the 1st 
transistorized amp.The LPC1 just doesn't have the thump that a tube amp does and the 
sound seems muddier.
 
And some of the aftermarket needles(which is basically all that's available 
now for the stereo cartridge in that juke) have lower output and it won't sound 
as good.
