[Jukebox-list] off subject telefunken stereo

Hi all,
this is indeed a bit off subject, but sometimes I read posts about stereo systems so here goes.  Friends of my parents offered me a Telefunken Cabinet Stereo from the 1960's with AM/FM and 2 SW, turntable and reel-to-reel deck in it.  The radio came on, no problem but the turntable didn't work.  Any thoughts as I wonder how difficult it would be to repair/trouble shoot.  I have never heard of the Stereo before and haven't found much on line.  I will say the cabinet is just mint, a beautiful German Walnut.  Thanks if you can guide me in the right direction.
