[Jukebox-list] Wurlitzer Amplifer

I just picked up a cheap spare "used" Wurlitzer amplifier model 547. I plan to re-cap it and clean it up but before I do , I would like to ask a question about. Someone previously has written "Filter cond." on the cover plate for the circuit board. I'm no electrical wizard, so I'm in the dark on this one. Just wondering if I should be looking for something other than a bad capacitor or obvious wiring problems. I haven't tried this amp in my jukebox.
I also want to replace the power cord using a three wire cord. Any suggestions as to where to connect the ground to. Is this advisable?
