Someone previously has written "Filter cond." on the cover plate for the circuit board. I'm no electrical wizard, so I'm in the dark on this one. Just wondering if I should be looking for something other than a bad capacitor or obvious wiring problems. I haven't tried this amp in my jukebox.
Capacitors were called "condensers" in the old days. Remember "Plugs,
points, condenser" in an engine tune-up? The note probably indicates
that the amplifier needs a filter condenser (capacitor), or it could
mean that one was replaced.

I solder it to one of the ground lugs on the chassis. Leave the green
wire a couple of inches longer than the others so that if the strain
relief grommet fails it will break last.
You should also ensure that the amplifier mounting bracket is securely
electrically connected to the mech and cabinet metal.
