Dan, no sound could be something as simple as a faulty
6sj7 tube. Not sure if your amp uses this tube though,
but that was was the problem with my AMI B some time
ago. Took me a while to figure that one out. The 5U4
is indeed the rectifier tube. If your amp uses 6L6's,
these are the output tubes. Good luck
