Given all the previous conversation on this, if you really can't find
a two conductor cord, I'd suggest the alternative: Don't connect the
ground, and cut the ground pin off the plug to avoid false
impressions.
But best to find the plug & cord that matches what you actually do, of
course.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be
a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the
safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
