Re Graham's enquiry regarding Rowe Ami R-83 10 inch bass speakers,
impedance?

 

Rowe Ami did not tend to put the impedance of the speakers in the manuals
around this era.

 

The R-85 manual states that the 10 inch speakers are 30 ohms, however I
metered these at 20 to 21 ohms.

The R-83 and R-84 or R-85 uses the same 125 watt amplifier, the bass
speakers are wired in parallel through the cross over systems across both
channels.

The maximum rated output of the amplifier is at 4 ohms per channel.
