[Jukebox-list] AMI 200-select tonarm pivot

Hey folks,

I've acquired an AMI 200-select mechanism that I'm building a "hideaway"
cabinet to place in, supposedly out of a Continental II (stereo
cartridge is mounted). I've been able to rig it up to play on the
bench, except for one thing. It seems the tonearm has too much lateral
friction in both directions causing skips. The manual shows nothing as
far as an exploded view of that assembly, and I'm stumped as to what
it's supposed to look like. It has that vertical "tube" that the
tonearm rides on which has already been lubed with lithium grease, but
there's nothing on top of it. That doesn't seem right to me. Am I
missing a piece that should be there? Does it have a pivot pin? Anybody
got a scan of what it should really look like?

Thank you!
