You mean 1941, don't you (not 1931)?  Instantaneous acetate
recordings were not made until a year or two later. I'm sure
you know that you have to treat the glass based records
*very* carefully since the glass is so thin.  It's best
to store each one in a sleeve between two sheets of corrogated
cardboard, with the weave running at right angles, if possible.
