I need to find a single woman that loves jukeboxes as much as Jackie as I
don't think many wives would tolerate my collection.I live in a singlewide mobile
home and I have a Seeburg R, Seeburg 222,Seeburg STD3 Sunstar,a Rockola
490-1Supersound and a Seburg HSC1 all in my living room. The HSC1 doubles as the tv
stand and stereo component stand for my component stereo and turntable. The
only furniture in the living room is a sofabed,an endtable and a Lazyboy
recliner and the 2 Realistic Mach 2 speakers on the floor. There were 2 recliners but
one went out the door when the HSC1 came home .The other endtable and coffee
table went in the shed as other jukes came in the door. That's 5 in the living
room.In the kitchenette is a Seeburg LPC1. In my bedroom is a Wurlitzer 2510.
In the spare bedroom is a Wurlitzer 2150 and an unrestored Seeburg C and an
unrestored Seeburg PFEA1U.
Also in both bedrooms records are everywhere. Also in my bedroom is a 1960
Magnavox console stereo. It's about 5 feet long.Has a jukebox like sound with it's
push pull 6v6 tube amp and 15" woofers with horn tweeters.Very nostalgic to
see and hear it playing records.Reminds me of my mom's old console hi fi she
had when I was little. In my biggest Amish built shed out back is thousands of
records.Also a Rockola 450,RoweAMI JAL,A Mills Do Re Mi,another PFEA1U and a
Seeburg LPC480.
In the smaller Amish built shed sharing space with my riding lawnmower are a
Seeburg B,Seeburg SS160 and another LPC480.
18 jukes in all plus a pretty big console stereo and a big pair of stereo
speakers.Only the pumphouse and the bathroom don't have a juke in
them...lol.There's room to store jukes in the pumphouse shed but I wouldn't want one in there
because of dampness. In case you city dwellers don't know what a pumphouse is,
a pumphouse is necessary when you don't have city water as you need shelter
for your water pump and tank and any kind of water treatment necessary.I also
have to run electricity hog heat lamps when it goes below freezing at night in
the winter to make sure my pump doesn't freeze. Those things eat more electric
than 3 or 4 tube type jukeboxes running at once.Ouch!
