[Jukebox-list] Rock-Ola 445 does not remove the record

Hi,

That sounds like lack of lubrication within the gripper assembly. Is the
part of the gripper arm near to the gears moving out to grip the record at
the end of its play ? when gummed up with old grease it sometimes stays
inside, and the arm moves but leaves the record on the turntable.
Easy fix - just lubrication. Strip the gripper assembly down completely if
you fancy. Or lubricate and free it off till it retracts in/out nicely.

I hope that helps. Usually occurs if the box hasn't been used regularly.

Regards

Nigel, UK

Subject: [Jukebox-list] Rock-Ola 445 does not remove the record

Hi,
I've been offered a Rock-Ola 445 for a reasonable price, I guess.
It plays and selects ok, but when the record has been played it won't be
removed but instead
a new record is being dropped over the previuosly played.

I'm just wondering what kind of fault this is (write in, read out) and
is this difficult to fix?

Thanks
-Klaus-
