[Jukebox-list] Question on Shielded Cable - 1938 Mills Zephyr

I have a question on shielded cable for my Mills Zephyr jukebox.  The end coming from the volume control is in rough shape and the connector connected to the outside (shielded) part has come off.  Is there any trick to fixing this?  It was already re-soldered on once by the look of things.  Is there a source for new shielded cable with connectors for this?  It connects to the volume control which connects to the shielded cable coming from the tone arm.

One other question.  My manual refers to a ground for the amp but I do not see any ground on it.  I do notice a wire that is laying beside the amp that looks like it should probably go to one of the screws holding down the amp.  I will look at it and see where it goes to.  Any hints to tell me if this wire is a ground?
