I use a hardware solution, the Sony CDR-W33.  Unfortunately,
Sony discontinued it a couple years ago.  It's a freestanding
CD burner that functions much like a tape deck, so it's 
intuitive to use.  It was aimed at the broadcast market for
airchecking, making distribution copies of commercials, etc.
It, along with its slightly more feature laden big brother 
CDR-W66, were well loved and so it's all the more confusing
why it was pulled from the market.  If you can find either
used they're great machines.
