Hi Dennis,

 

>From the way you describe the cartridge connections you have one side out of
phase. That would be ok for the R-82 running the 02179 amp (64 watt) but not
the 125 or 130 watt amplifier.

 

If you look at the connection end of the tone arm with the shell of the arm
to the top and the styli to the bottom then the two blacks should be to the
bottom with the red above each black connection (the red and black must be
the ones within the same screened cable).
