[Jukebox-list] Trashcan on the blink

Jackie, and Mel,
I have seen the "motor start switch" fail to make contact intermittantly. Can't recall which brand motor this has happened to me on--but have found that a slight rotation, or a "jolt" to the side of the motor will sometimes be enough to get it going again. Also have found some in which the "thermal protector" has opened--in which case, I have installed a one amp ( I think) SB fuse in the line, and bypass the thermal. This may or may not be too wise, as I don't know exactly how much current is a normal draw !!
