Another problem is condensation. It might be an idea to put a very small 
light bulb inside the body of the machine - say 10 - 20 watts, that will 
provide just enough heat to keep air moving through the machine. I do 
have customers with jukes located in unheated houses near the ocean, and 
these seem to run just fine if kept just above freezing.

Of course any small light must be mounted in such a way to avoid any 
chance of fire. Do note that wood, when subjected to heat that may be 
well below the burning point for wood, can catch on fire (flashpoint) if 
kept at about 150(??) to 200F(??) for a period of time...so rest the 
light bulb on a brick or something and leave several inches of space 
around it, the hotter the bulb the most space needed between the bulb 
and combustables.
