Hi Ron!  Actually it is ideally 6.5 as the #55 lamp in the crown takes 7 volts and the #44 lamps in the title pages take 6.3 (Seeburg wanted them brighter). The #51 lamp has a wire wound dropping resistor in series to limit the current to below the bulbs max rating so as not to melt the select glass (at least that's what we were told in the Seeburg distributor service training class). I have 10 3W1's I am finishing up restoring as we speak, and they are all 6.5 to 6.7vac......  Mel Knight
