A GFI receptacle is a good idea; however, a GFI will NOT work without a 
ground connection.  A good ground connection.

One would have to use a 3-wire AC cord to the GFI outlet.

a GFI outlet, cover plate, and strain relief.  Screw the outlet box to
the inside wall in place of the old surface-mount outlet.  Don't use
long screws that will protrude through the wall!  Mount the GFI inside
the box in jukebox, run the power cord through the notch in the bottom
of the back door.
