[Jukebox-list] Assorted Rowe M-74 questions

Some of you may recall my previous posting about a
Rowe R74.  Well, long story short, the machine is now
mine.  I am happy to own it, and quite like the way it
sounds.

I need some information about several things, please.

What is the resistance value of the remote volume
control potentiometer?

What is a good source of replacement plastic for the
pieces through which the fluorescent light from the
front shines onto the title strips?  There are two
pieces, opaque white, about two inches by 14 inches
each and about a thirty-second of an inch thick.

What is the correct type of coin mechanism?  A
replacement has been installed, which only takes
nickels, dimes and quarters.  I can see that the
original would have accomodated fifty cent pieces as
well.  I am interested in locating one.

What would be characteristic failures for the BA-2
bill acceptor?  Where is the service information for
the bill acceptor found?  I have obtained a copy of
the service manual for the machine, but it makes
little mention about the bill acceptor.

There is a light bulb near the mouth of the bill
acceptor.  I imagine it allows the acceptor to detect
when a bill has been inserted.  Does anyone know the
correct type number for this lamp?

Are there any updates to the BA-2?

If I end up having to replace the bill acceptor, are
there other models which can be used as substitutes?
