[Jukebox-list] Catching up on news...........from several years ago......

Back in 2003 and 2004, I was a lurker hear on the site always trying to 
learn more. I have 12-13 jukes, mostly Rockolas and have always done my 
own work with the benefit of  those jukebox gods who were willing to 
share info.  My AJ subscription lapsed and my jukes played fine.

After relocating and having some jukes come out of storage for several 
years, I came back to the list and read every months posts and the good 
news is that I am "tweaking" my jukes back into shape. The sad news was 
that I saw where Wesley Dean and Charlie Maier  passed away within about 
30 days of each other last fall. While I have always gotten a lot of 
pleasure out of jukes I was saddened by their passing and the memories 
for their old posts. The best part is that they live on from hobbyist 
like me who learned from their work .

I haven't bought a juke in probably 5 years living in a small town, not 
because i haven't been looking but because they are tougher to find 
close to a rural area. After relocating to Omaha, NE my hope is that the 
streak will end.

Glad to see the forum is alive and well!!
