One tiny nick in the veneer, other than that the only problem is the clear is scratched up. The stain and everything underneath the clear looks good.

I prefer not to use messy strippers or other chemicals if I can avoid it.
I use a rectangular piece of metal with sharp edges and scrape it off.
If that is the original lacquer on the 1100 it will come right off with
little elbow grease.
Then sand it by hand until smooth.
If it has been painted, I sometimes have to use thinner and a wire brush to
get the pigment out of the pores in the veneer (red paint is the worst to
remove).
Prefer not to stain it but keep it natural and as blond as possible. If it
has veneer damage, gouges or has been patched some staining may be
necessary.
