Jens,

I measured the resistance and I got solid readings across all three contacts
in both positions.  However, I did notice some sparks when the switch was
activated.   So I spent a lot of time cleaning the contacts.

I believe it did help.  Now when I make a selection the unit does scan
looking for a raised pin.  The motor then transfers directions and moves the
mechanism slightly and then the motor stops.   I can then advance the
mechanism using the reject button on the amp.

At the end of the record it starts to retract the arm and then stops again.


Do you think this may be due to a sluggish motor?
